Job summary

Carter Lumber seeks an Installed Framing Field Supervisor to manage framing for single and multi-family homes according to blueprints and customer contracts. You will ensure quality construction and coordinate material delivery with the crew on site.

This role requires 3+ years in heavy framing, blueprint literacy, knowledge of building materials, and a strong work ethic. You will uphold safety standards, mentor crews, and ensure timely project completion. Benefits included.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of heavy framing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of building materials and tools.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work under time constraints.
• Strong math skills and accuracy in measurements.
• Ability to follow directions (written and verbal).
• Ability to analyze and recommend solutions.
• Familiarity with scheduling programs (Builder Trend, Build Pro, Supply Pro).

Responsibilities

• Analyze jobsite to ensure quality construction and safety.
• Review construction documents and material requirements.
• Frame buildings according to blueprints.
• Coordinate material delivery and plans with labor brokers.
• Schedule deliveries per Construction Manager and ensure timely product arrival.
• Ensure framing complies with OSHA and Carter Lumber standards and safety rules.
• Maintain project timelines and quality workmanship.
• Provide excellent customer service and address issues professionally.
