We are seeking an experienced framing carpenter to join our team for an upcoming wood-frame construction project in Wyoming, MI. This is a temporary project expected to last 2-3 months and offers the opportunity to work on a fast-paced commercial construction site.
Install wood framing components according to project plans.
Measure, cut, and assemble framing materials.
Build walls, floors, roof systems, and other structural components.
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized job site.
Follow all safety procedures and job site requirements.
Collaborate effectively with the construction team to meet project deadlines.
Previous framing carpentry experience required.
Experience with wood-frame construction preferred.
Ability to read a tape measure and construction drawings.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work throughout the day.
Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
Strong work ethic and commitment.
Knowledge of carpentry, construction, and framing.
Experience in finish carpentry, concrete, drywall, and rough carpentry.
Proficiency with hand and power tools.
Ability to interpret blueprints.
Experience with commercial construction, metal stud installation, doors, trim work, and cabinetry.
