Job summary

LaForce in Green Bay, WI seeks an experienced Weld Lead to oversee the Frame Welding Shop. You will balance hands-on MIG/GMAW welding with team leadership, planning daily production activities, while upholding safety and exacting quality standards.

Lead responsibilities include mentoring welders, driving Lean manufacturing improvements, and coordinating with other departments to keep schedules tight and issues resolved.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership of a welding team in a production setting.
• Proficient MIG/GMAW welding and plasma cutting.
• Ability to read shop drawings, work orders, and specs.
• Experience implementing Lean manufacturing and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily welding operations and coordinate schedules.
• Mentor teammates to sustain high performance and safety.
• Plan and drive continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.
