AEG is seeking an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will help patients choose frames and lenses, ensure proper fit, and process prescriptions with accurate measurements.

The role requires patient-focused service, knowledge of lenses and frame options, and the ability to handle insurance and warranty questions. Join a team dedicated to quality and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School or GED qualification.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one-year experience working as an Optician strongly preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers extraordinary experience to each patient with complete product/service explanations.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and treatments aligned to lifestyle and prescription.
• Ensure proper frame fit, accurate measurements, and correct lens dispensing.
• Enter prescription details into EHR and ALE systems and keep patient charts updated.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and displays.
