Hooker Furnishings Corporation seeks an experienced Frame Engineer in Valdese, NC to design and develop furniture frames for upholstery products. You will create drawings, prototype frames, and collaborate with operations to ensure quality and production readiness.

Strong communication and cross-functional teamwork are essential. The role requires proficiency in Solid Edge and AutoCAD, plus a background in manufacturing or engineering.

Qualifications

• Five plus years of furniture frame design and development experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail in manufacturing environments.

Responsabilités

• Create drawings for upholstered hardwood/CNC frames using Solid Edge and AutoCAD.
• Develop prototypes and work with plant operations to test frames for quality and standards.
• Approve frames for first production runs.
• Stay informed about market trends and technologies to improve frame quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with design, quality, manufacturing, and engineering to integrate frames into production.
• Create detailed poly specifications drawings and manage lifecycle documentation of specs.
• Record and maintain specifications, blueprints, and processes.
