Job summary

RHF in Hickory, NC is seeking an Upholstery Frame Assembler to position and secure foundation within frames. The role uses manual and powered tools to clip, tie and staple components, ensuring high-quality, uniform workmanship.

You will prepare frames, apply propex as required, and maintain production levels while adhering to quality standards and safety guidelines. Training provided for equipment and processes in a busy manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous webbing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Position is responsible for positioning and securing foundation within the frame.
• Uses manual and powered tools to clip, tie and/or staple these components into place.
• Obtains frame and applies propex to bottom or prescribed bottom, maintains proper distance from front rail, side center rails, and back center rails.
• Ensures quality and uniform workmanship by properly stretching all buttons and backs with the appropriate tool.
• Applies cardboard to the arms of product and Thumbroll as needed.
• Maintains a production level with quality meeting company standards and notifies supervision if quality problems occur.
