Fairfield Chair Company in North Carolina is seeking a Frame Handler / Utility to support daily furniture production by handling frames, cushions, and staging work-in-progress for upholsterers and assembly teams. The role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work across multiple areas of production.

You will lift and move frames, prepare cushions, maintain organized staging areas, follow safety guidelines, and assist with general production utility duties as directed

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, carry, and move furniture frames and materials.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Previous furniture manufacturing or upholstery experience preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Receive, unload, and move frames to designated production areas.
• Sort and organize frames according to style, model, and production orders.
• Inspect frames for visible damage or defects before production.
• Assist with cushion filling and staging for upholstery or assembly departments.
• Stage furniture frames, cushions, and materials for upcoming production orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area per company procedures.
