Job summary

Foundation seeks a Fractional Video Director to own the video program from strategy through production to quality. You will set quality standards, build a scalable workflow, and manage a network of editors, scriptwriters and creators to deliver high-impact, discovery-focused videos for B2B clients.

You will defend creative decisions when collaborating with senior marketers, optimize costs, and explore AI-assisted tools that preserve quality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in video or film production, including senior roles.
• Experience running video at volume across multiple vendors and freelancers.
• Working knowledge of YouTube: titles, hooks, retention, discovery.
• Confident in defending creative calls to senior marketers and maintaining client relationships.
• Practical take on AI video tools and when they save time or hinder quality.
• Comfort with fractional, async-first work and focusing on high-leverage problems.

Responsibilities

• Own video quality standards and the QA process across every video from script to final cut.
• Source, vet and manage video vendors and freelancers, holding them to quality, turnaround and cost.
• Build a repeatable production workflow, including in-house editing and scripting pilots where beneficial.
• Track cost per video and keep the program inside budget.
• Coach our creative producer and video strategists on production, feedback and client handling.
• Explain why a video is built for discovery to clients and push back on ineffective feedback.
• Test AI-assisted editing and scripting tools and adopt those that meet the quality bar.
