Job summary

JAKTOOL in Cranbury Township, NJ, seeks an experienced Fractional IT & Cybersecurity Lead to guide IT infrastructure, cybersecurity program, and NIST/CMMC compliance for a growing engineering and manufacturing organization.

You will partner with leadership and internal/external IT resources to establish secure, reliable, and scalable technology; oversee operations, governance, and risk, and deliver monthly security and IT performance reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related.
• At least 10 years in technology leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise software systems architecture and IT governance.
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity practices and NIST/CMMC compliance.
• Ability to manage conflicting/priorities in regulated environments.
• Experience in engineering/manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an IT and cybersecurity roadmap aligned with growth.
• Oversee IT operations, system administration, and user support.
• Own and lead the cybersecurity program including IAM, MFA, EDR, patching.
• Lead vendor management and ensure security requirements are met.
• Maintain IT/security documentation and monthly leadership reports.
• Support budgeting, lifecycle planning and program governance.
• Ensure disaster recovery, business continuity, and risk reporting.
