Job summary

Qualifications

• High volume 1099 experience in production/film/TV/events or similar freelance-heavy industries.
• Experience reconciling actuals to estimates at the job level.
• Comfort with multi-entity LP/GP structures and correct entity postings.
• Experience paying international vendors and handling FX in books.

Responsibilities

• Full cycle AP: vendor invoice intake, coding to jobs, approvals, and payment runs including international vendors in GBP/EUR.
• AR: client invoicing per contract terms, chasing aging, collections.
• Owning the vendor file: W-9s collected at onboarding.
• 1099 season: prepping a high volume of 1099-NECs with our CPA (freelance production crew).
• Job cost tracking: reconciling actual spend against production budgets per project.
• Month end close: bank and card reconciliations across multiple accounts (including Amex Business Platinum), accruals, petty cash and production advances, logging and coding card spend in QuickBooks.
• Payroll: coordinating crew payroll data, payroll tax and workers comp lines, 401(k) census with our recordkeeper.
