Job summary

Fractionus Group is seeking an accomplished CFO for a fractional, part-time engagement with growth potential. The role spans multiple client engagements, providing trusted financial advice and overseeing GAAP accounting, reporting, cash flow modelling, and FP&A.

You will support clients across SaaS, AI, Deep Tech, and consumer products, handling capital planning, fundraising support, cap table modelling, term sheets, M&A due diligence, and investor reporting. Remote US-based work is available.

Qualifications

10+ years of finance and accounting experience, with at least 7 years in a CFO capacity.
CPA and/or MBA preferred; strong working knowledge of GAAP.
Experience with venture-backed and startup companies across SaaS, AI, Deep Tech, or consumer products.

Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing financial insight, recommendations, and strategic guidance
Manage client accounting teams to ensure timely completion of finance and accounting functions
Design and produce financial statements, KPI tracking, investor reporting, and budget-to-actual analysis
Build and maintain financial forecasts, cash flow models, and FP&A frameworks
Advise on capital planning, fundraising, pricing, corporate structure, and tax planning
Support M&A activity including buy and sell-side due diligence, exit planning, and term negotiation
