Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an Area Sales Manager to grow the Permian Basin territory. You will establish contact with customers, identify opportunities, and support regional teams on lead development while visiting sites and facilities for on-site support.

The role requires 3+ years in Oil & Gas sales, a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), willingness to travel, and strong interpersonal skills. Experience with Salesforce CRM is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or HS diploma with 4 years sales experience).
• Minimum 3 years of oil & gas sales experience.
• Willingness to travel throughout the territory.
• Self-motivated with strong initiative.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• CRM experience with Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Establish contact with existing customers and identify new opportunities.
• Support Regional Sales Managers on lead untapping and field relationships.
• Visit site locations, field offices, and facilities to provide on-site support.
• Drive product line strategies and oversee Inquiry-to-Order processes to ensure smooth execution.
