Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking an FPI Level I inspector for our Mentor, OH facility. You will perform fluorescent penetrant inspections on investment cast parts, following NAS-410 guidelines and established SOPs.

The role requires a current or prior FPI Level I certification and NAS-410 training, with responsibilities including waste handling, record-keeping, and adherence to safety procedures in a 6a–2p shift.

Qualifications

• Must have current (preferred) or previous FPI Level I certification and NAS-410 training completed.

Responsibilities

• Handle hazardous waste per MSDS and company policy.
• Prepare solutions, clean parts, apply fluorescent penetrant, wash, develop, dry and process parts through the FPI line per SOPs.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety rules.
• Record daily work and distribution of time using operational codes.
• Ensure parts are processed according to method sheets and engineer guidance.
