Job summary

Aimic Inc. is seeking a Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) Inspector – Level II for our Franklin, OH aerospace manufacturing team. You will inspect components for surface defects using fluorescent penetrant methods and black-light examination, ensuring high-quality results.

The ideal candidate has hands-on inspection experience, reads blueprints accurately, and works independently in a fast-paced setting with a strong emphasis on accuracy.

Qualifications

• Current FPI Level II certification is required.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing inspection preferred.
• Ability to read complex blueprints and follow procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform fluorescent penetrant inspections on aerospace components.
• Prepare and clean components before inspection per procedures.
• Examine parts under ultraviolet/black light for defects.
• Interpret blueprints and procedures to document results.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Manage multiple tasks while staying accurate.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain reliable attendance and support additional duties.
