Job summary

Chromalloy in Florida is seeking a skilled NDT Technician to perform fluorescent penetrant inspection of investment castings in accordance with IMRS and technique sheets. You will accept or reject parts and ensure paperwork matches parts inspected.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1-2 years in quality inspection, aerospace experience, and NAS 410 Level I PT certification willingness; additional certifications are welcomed. You will draft techniques and support Level III as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of quality inspection experience.
• Aerospace industry experience required.
• Casting experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Selects work to be inspected per supervisor's instructions and processes parts as per technique instructions.
• Checks to ensure previous paperwork is completed and matches parts to be inspected.
• Completes all required paperwork.
• Drafts techniques to assist Level III as needed.
• Additional NDT techniques may be required to certify when business dictates.
