Job summary

CesiumAstro is hiring an FPGA Engineer I to develop FPGA circuits for satellites and aerospace systems. You will contribute across the full development cycle, from design through verification and deployment, in a startup-like, autonomous environment.

The role requires BS/MS in EE/CE, HDL design experience, and strong communication skills; familiarity with high-speed interfaces is a plus. Stock options and a generous benefits package accompany full-time employment.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience designing FPGA systems at the HDL level.
• Expertise in FPGA design and verification (Verilog/VHDL, HDL coder, Vivado, Modelsim).
• Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as oscilloscopes and analyzers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop FPGA circuits and systems through all phases of the development process.
• Design and verify FPGA logic at the HDL level.
• Test, validate, and deploy FPGA designs.
• Work with high-speed interfaces, multiple clocks, and verification environments.
