Job summary

Legion Technical Solutions LLC in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced FPGA Engineer to support advanced digital systems for aerospace and defense programs. You will contribute across the full engineering lifecycle—from requirements and architecture to VHDL development, verification, integration, and production release.

You will design and implement production-quality FPGA solutions, develop reliable VHDL logic, translate system requirements into FPGA specs, and collaborate with systems,

Qualifications

• At least five years of FPGA/digital-design experience.
• Experience with Xilinx or Microsemi FPGA toolchains.
• Ability to deliver FPGA solutions from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver production-quality FPGA solutions from initial proof of concept through production
• Develop reliable FPGA logic in VHDL
• Translate system requirements into FPGA requirements
• Collaborate across architecture, interface definition, and CONOPS
• Perform simulation, synthesis, timing analysis, and place-and-route
• Create verification environments and track coverage
• Integrate and debug FPGA designs in hardware environments
• Produce design docs, verification plans, and reviews
