Job summary

Integration Innovation, Inc. in Washington, DC is seeking a Digital Hardware Engineer to support the Naval Research Laboratory, Tactical Electronic Warfare Division. The role focuses on FPGA-based digital systems development and verification.

The candidate will design HDL, implement FPGA cores, and produce technical reports while working under security requirements. A Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer engineering, physics, or related field.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience.
• Thorough understanding of HDL (VHDL or Verilog).
• Experience with buses such as RS232, RS422, UART, SPI, I2C.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, analyze and test FPGA-based digital systems.
• Develop HDL and block designs for FPGAs.
• Integrate manufacturer IP FPGA cores into customized firmware architectures.
• Design and validate testbench routines for simulation of FPGA designs and sub-designs.
• Generate technical reports documenting design and analysis.
