Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation is seeking an Electrical Engineer specialized in Digital Hardware and FPGA development. You will design, develop, and verify Circuit Card Assemblies and FPGAs, work with cross-functional teams, and support hardware/software interface definitions.

Required are a Bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred), 3+ years experience, proficiency in VHDL/Verilog, and eligibility for a DoD security clearance. Competitive pay and benefits accompany the role in East Farmingdale, NY.

• US Citizen and must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance

Responsibilities

• Perform Circuit Card Assembly design specifying mixed-signal technology circuits including processors, I/O, and programmable logic devices (FPGA, CPLD)
• Development of FPGA designs in VHDL with debugging and resolution of hardware/firmware issues
• Debug and resolve hardware/firmware issues in new and existing products
• Design and develop automated test fixtures to support system level testing
