Job summary

Envisioneering, Inc. is seeking a mid-level FPGA/Embedded Engineer to join our team supporting US Navy defense-related programs.

The candidate will work on FPGA and back-end development for radar/RF systems, data processing, automation, and instrument integration in mixed Windows and Linux environments. The role requires a BS in engineering, 5+ years in FPGA/embedded work, and an active DoD Secret clearance or higher.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret Clearance that is active or was active within 24 months prior to date of hire.
• HDL experience with VHDL 2008/2019 or Verilog/SystemVerilog for RTL on FPGAs/DSPs.
• DSP/Signal processing: implement/optimize DSP algorithms on FPGA/DSP logic and fix-point conversion.
• Fixed-point conversion: translate MATLAB/Simulink models to fixed-point FPGA implementations.
• Embedded firmware: C/C++ on bare-metal/RTOS with FPGA drivers and HALs.

Responsibilities

• Support US Navy defense-related programs involving FPGA and embedded systems.
• Develop back-end FPGA and data processing for radar/RF systems.
• Automate tests and instrument integration using lab equipment.
• Translate, simulate, and validate signal processing models against hardware.
