Job summary

RTX's Effector Digital Products Department is seeking an Electrical Engineer I to develop FPGA designs for major vendors using VHDL and Verilog. You will collaborate with circuit card designers and systems engineers from requirements through integration, test, and production, supporting gigabit interfaces, RF/EO DSP, and embedded processing.

This on-site role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM, with strong FPGA knowledge and experience with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM major obtained by start date.
• Demonstrated experience with digital design and VHDL or Verilog coding.
• Familiarity with Xilinx, Altera or Microsemi/Microchip FPGAs.

Responsibilities

• Designs are developed with circuit card designers and systems engineers from requirements through integration and test.
• Code development, simulation, and place-and-route for FPGA designs.
• Verify designs against requirements using directed test and constrained random methodologies.
• Documentation and configuration management throughout the design process.
