RTX is seeking an FPGA Electrical Engineer I to join the Multi-Product Power & Digital (MPD) Department in Texas. You will design and verify FPGA blocks, work on architectures, and support product lifecycle from development to production.

Candidate should hold a STEM bachelor's degree and have hands-on FPGA experience with VHDL/Verilog, using Vivado, Quartus Pro or Libero. This onsite role offers relocation eligibility and strong growth in aerospace/defense.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM field obtained by start date.
• Experience in FPGA/ASIC design or verification (VHDL/Verilog).
• Experience with AMD Xilinx, Altera and/or Microchip devices and with Vivado, Quartus Prime Pro or Libero.
• Hands-on experience with integration and debug of FPGA/ASIC in a lab environment.
• Experience with source code management, design reviews, and code release in a team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide full lifecycle support of production-quality FPGA designs for major vendors and device families (AMD Xilinx, Altera, Microchip).
• Generate FPGA designs for gigabit serial interfaces, RF DSP, controls, data links, and embedded processing interfaces.
• Assist with architecture development of FPGA-based systems including parts, interfaces, and CONOPS.
• Design and code in VHDL/Verilog for reliability and maintainability.
• Support verification using self-checking techniques with directed and constrained random tests.
• Report execution status to budget and schedule using an agile framework.
• Create complete documentation including requirements, verification plan, and user guides.
• Function as an individual contributor and present work to leadership.
