Job summary

RTX in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking an FPGA engineer to design and code in VHDL/Verilog for production-quality FPGA systems used in aerospace and defense. You will generate designs, perform lab integration and debugging, and document requirements, verification plans, and user guides.

This onsite role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical/Computer Engineering or STEM and experience with Vivado/Quartus/Libero. Hard requirements include hands-on lab experience, ability to work in a team, and eligibility

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or STEM.
• Experience with FPGA/ASIC design or verification (VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog).
• Experience with FPGA devices and with tools such as Vivado, Quartus Pro or Libero.
• Hands-on experience with integration and debugging of FPGA/ASIC in a lab environment.
• Experience with source code management, design reviews, and code release in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Work onsite at Fort Wayne, IN Location.
• Provide Full Lifecycle support of production quality FPGA.
• Generate FPGA Designs.
• Design and Code in VHDL for reliability and maintainability.
• Create complete documentation including requirements, verification plan, and users guides.
