Job summary

ZappHire seeks a Staff Analyst, FP&A Systems & AI Automation to own the Pigment planning platform end-to-end and modernize our financial planning through AI. You will report to the Head of FP&A with visibility to the C-suite and investors, owning budgeting, forecasting, and modeling.

You will drive data integrations, model hierarchies, and AI-driven automations, collaborating with Accounting, IT, and FP&A to ensure data integrity and business-ready outputs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years owning Pigment platform data models, hierarchies, and integrations.
• 5+ years in FP&A or strategic finance with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Experience building/ deploying AI agents or automation used by business.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Pigment platform as the sole system owner.
• Translate financial models for leadership and investors, and translate needs back into the tool.
• Build and deploy AI agents to redesign manual finance workflows.
• Drive end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across segment P&Ls.
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure data integrity and train users on the platform.

Job description

We are looking for a Staff Analyst, FP&A Systems & AI Automation with 5-15 years of experience at Series-C AI startup, to own company's Pigment planning platform end-to-end and drive the modernization of our financial planning processes through AI and automation. This is a backfill for a critical individual contributor role reporting directly to the Head of FP&A, with unlimited visibility to the C-suite and investors - you'll be the single owner of the tool that powers our budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

What will you be doing?

• Own and maintain the Pigment platform — managing data integrations, hierarchies, models, and outputs as the sole system owner
• Translate financial models into clear narratives for leadership, the CFO, and investors, and translate business needs back into the planning tool
• Build and deploy AI agents and automations (using tools like Gemini, Claude, Copilot) to redesign manual finance workflows
• Drive end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across segment P&Ls
• Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, IT, and FP&A to ensure data integrity and train business users on the platform

Key Requirements

• 2+ years of Pigment ownership experience (not just end-user usage - must have owned the tool, managed hierarchies, integrations, and modeling)
• 5+ years of FP&A or strategic finance experience with hands-on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Built and deployed at least one AI agent or automation that is actively used by the business
• Experience working with SAP or a comparable ERP (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) in a finance context
• Ability to present financial analysis directly to CFO-level leadership and investors
