Job summary

Educated Solutions Corp seeks an FP&A Systems Administrator to own and optimize Oracle EPBCS within our Enterprise Planning ecosystem. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes while interfacing with Finance and IT to drive improvements and system reliability.

The role emphasizes 70% EPBCS administration and 30% FP&A activities, with opportunities to contribute to future EPBCS phases and enhancements. A strong analytical mindset and advanced Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, accounting, information systems, computer science, business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience administering Oracle EPBCS or a comparable Oracle EPM platform.
• Experience configuring, maintaining, and supporting Oracle EPBCS applications.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Experience managing metadata, business rules, security, forms, workflows, and reporting within Oracle EPBCS.
• Ability to troubleshoot system issues and recommend process improvements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with JD Edwards and Tableau preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary system administrator for Oracle EPBCS.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize EPBCS applications, metadata, business rules, security, forms, dashboards, workflows, and reporting.
• Lead annual budget setup and initialization within EPBCS.
• Support future phases of EPBCS implementation and system enhancements.
• Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with Oracle/partners as needed.
• Maintain system integrity, user security, workflows, and performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation, reporting, and planning processes.
• Develop and maintain system documentation and end-user training materials.
• Partner with Finance, IT, and stakeholders to implement improvements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly planning through EPBCS.
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis to stay aligned with performance needs.
• Support monthly/quarterly reviews with system-generated insights.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and identify business drivers and variances.
• Perform ad hoc financial reporting and analysis.
• Build collaborative relationships across Finance and other functions.
