Job summary

ScienceLogic seeks a high-impact Senior Director, Finance & FP&A to lead global planning, financial reporting, and strategy. You will partner with the CFO, CEO, and cross-functional leaders to drive profitability, growth, and operational performance across a SaaS business.

You will own the annual plan, rolling forecasts, and executive-facing analyses, while guiding a small finance team and advancing automation-driven processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience including FP&A and leadership.
• Experience supporting executives, boards, and senior stakeholders.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate complex finance topics to non-financial audiences.
• Experience in software, SaaS, technology, or recurring revenue models.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems expertise.

Responsibilities

• Act as strategic advisor to CFO and leadership on performance, strategy, investments, and profitability improvements.
• Lead financial modeling and scenario planning for global growth, pricing, and organizational changes.
• Develop executive-level insights and recommendations for decision-making.
• Maintain and enhance models for revenue, ARR, bookings, headcount, expenses, and cash flow.
• Prepare board materials, investor communications, and lender reporting.
• Partner with accounting to ensure consistency between reporting and results.
• Own SaaS metrics measurement and reporting; translate metrics into insights.
• Drive finance automation, forecasting accuracy, and scalable processes.
