Job summary

Form Energy is hiring a highly motivated FP&A Staff Analyst to support financial operations for the engineering and R&D organization. This role reports into the Director of Corporate FP&A and is ideal for a finance professional who partners with technical teams to influence decision-making through data-driven insights.

This is a hybrid role with onsite work 3+ days per week and relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Corporate Finance.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Deep understanding of expense accounting, including accruals, amortization, and capitalization.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop department budgets (expense & capital investments) and monitor spending against budget.
• Gather, review, analyze and report spending data.
• Lead budget development and program plan quantification with stakeholders.
• Drive finance reporting disciplines: budget, forecast, monthly reviews, long-range plans.
• Support internal controls and monthly accruals, budget vs actual reviews.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop reporting dashboards.
• Drive process improvements and standardization of finance routines.
• Maintain high standards of financial accuracy and documentation.
