Job summary

Form Energy is hiring an FP&A Staff Analyst to support financial operations for the engineering and R&D organization. This hybrid role requires onsite work 3+ days per week and relocation assistance is available.

You will partner with G&A and leadership to drive budgeting, forecasting, and reporting with high financial accuracy. Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in corporate finance, a finance or accounting degree, and strong communication skills to influence decisions across cross-functional

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate finance.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
Deep understanding of expense accounting principles including accruals, amortization, and capitalization.

Responsibilities

Develop department budgets (expense & capital investments) and monitor performance against budget.
Gather, review, analyze and report spending data.
Lead budget development and review meetings with partners and engineering leadership.
Drive reporting and discipline for finance routines (annual budget, quarterly forecast, monthly reviews).
Support internal controls (purchase approvals, accruals, budget vs actual reviews).
Partner with cross-functional teams to develop reporting dashboards.
Drive continuous process improvement and standardization of reporting.
Maintain high standards of financial accuracy and documentation.
