Job summary

Form Energy is seeking an FP&A Staff Analyst to support financial operations for engineering and R&D. The role reports to the Director of Corporate FP&A and offers hybrid work with onsite presence 3+ days per week and relocation assistance.

You will partner with G&A and leadership to drive budgets, forecast performance, and develop dashboards that inform strategic decisions while maintaining rigorous financial controls.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Corporate Finance or equivalent roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Strong understanding of expense accounting principles including accruals, amortization, and capitalization.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive process improvements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop department budgets (expense and capital investments) and monitor against budget.
• Gather, review, analyze and report spending data and KPIs.
• Lead budget development and conduct budget review meetings with engineering leadership.
• Drive reporting, discipline and processes for annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long‑range plans.
• Support internal controls and monthly accruals, and budget vs. actual reviews.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to develop reporting dashboards.
• Drive continuous process improvement and reporting enhancements.
• Maintain high standards of financial accuracy and operational rigor.
