Job summary

Ampere is seeking a Finance FP&A Analyst for a 6-7 month contingent staff augmentation on the Management Reporting Team, based in Portland, Oregon. The role centers on financial close, forecasting, and reporting cycles, with an emphasis on controls and processes. It is a hybrid work arrangement through a staffing vendor.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (MBA/CPA a plus) and 5+ years in Finance or Systems Implementation, with strong analytic and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA/CPA a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in Finance and/or Systems Implementation.
• Proven financial close and reporting cycle skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Execute core finance deliverables: create journal entries, analyze financial statements, create and analyze forecasted cash flow statements.
• Partner across Finance, Accounting, IT, external consultants to update, maintain and create efficient processes to get the job done.
• Create training materials, process documentation as well as updates to narratives and accounting policies.
• Troubleshoot and recommend paths forward as hurdles arise
• Contribute to a fun, positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture.
