Ampere Computing LLC in Portland, Oregon is seeking a Finance Systems Project Manager for a four-month, staff-augmentation contract. The role drives NetSuite-based system capability, ensures on-time delivery, and aligns finance processes with controls and close reporting standards.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional collaboration across Finance, Accounting, IT, Engineering, and P&C, develop training materials, and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
• MBA/CPA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create a Project Plan for going live with new project tracking system capability in NetSuite.
• Drive execution of the Plan, corralling inputters, users, reporting deliverables to the plan.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, IT, Engineering, P&C teams to meet needs and create an efficient process to get the job done.
• Create training materials, process documentation, as well as updates to narratives and accounting policies.
• Troubleshoot and recommend paths forward as hurdles arise.
• Contribute to a fun, positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Finance Systems Project Manager (Temporary Contract Staff Augmentation Role)

Ampere is seeking to fill a temporary staff augmentation Finance Systems Project Manager role supporting our Finance Department for an anticipated period of 4 months.

Scope of Work:

Ampere’s Finance team is seeking a proactive and driven Project Manager to support a targeted system capability implementation. In this role, you will drive user acceptance, training, and change management. You will support operational excellence, controls and efficiency while maintaining Ampere’s controls and financial close and reporting standards. This position is well suited for someone who is organized and driven to push execution across multiple organizations.

As a core member of the Finance team, responsibilities will include:

Education, Skills, & Experience Desired:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or related field. MBA/CPA a plus.
• 8+ years of experience in Finance and/or Systems Implementation.
• Proven Project Management skills.
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively while driving results in a team setting.

Engagement Arrangements:

As a Contingent Worker, you will work as an employee of a Staffing Vendor firm, who provides staff augmentation and payroll services for Ampere Computing. The staffing firm offers weekly pay based on approved timecard submittal, medical benefits, and other employment benefits, based on eligibility. The hourly pay range for this role is between $74.28 and $111.30 per hour. The role is based at Ampere’s Portland, Oregon office. This role will have a hybrid work arrangement.
