Job summary

Egnyte in Mountain View, CA, is seeking an experienced FP&A professional to join as a senior member of the finance team. The role partners with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to drive forecasting, budgeting, and strategic insights for executive leadership.

Ideal candidates have 5–8+ years in SaaS FP&A, with strong modeling skills, hands-on experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, Anaplan, Tableau or Power BI, and a track record of data-driven decision support.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years FP&A experience in SaaS or subscription businesses.
• Experience supporting Sales, Revenue Operations, or Customer Success.
• Experience managing budgets and headcount planning.
• Able to translate complex data into executive insights and recommendations.
• Strong knowledge of SaaS metrics: ARR, MRR, churn, CAC, and sales productivity.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic finance partner to Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Professional Services and executive leadership
• Manage key SaaS operating metrics including ARR, bookings, churn, retention, and sales productivity
• Own bookings and ARR reporting, recurring revenue forecasting, annual operating plan models, GTM expense and headcount planning, and performance analysis
• Report to the Director, Finance - GTM, and collaborate with Sales leadership, Sales operations, Marketing, Customer Success, Professional Services, HR, Legal, Finance leadership and Accounting teams
• Continually improve forecasting methodologies, reporting accuracy, and planning processes
• Enhance reporting automation and dashboard capabilities
• No travel expectations at this time
• 3 days per week on-site

Experience

• Experience using CRM and reporting platforms such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Anaplan, Tableau, or Power BIAdvanced financial modeling and forecasting skills, along with advanced Excel and financial modeling expertise
• Strong understanding of SaaS metrics including ARR, MRR, bookings, churn, gross retention, net retention, CAC, and sales productivity metrics; experience in high-growth SaaS environments preferredMBA, CFA, or CPA designation preferred
• Experience supporting Sales, Revenue Operations, or Customer Success organizations
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
• Experience managing budgets and headcount planning processes
• Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights and executive-level recommendations
• 5-8+ years of progressive FP&A experience, including experience supporting SaaS or subscription-based businesses
