Job summary

Abbott is seeking an on-site Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis in Alameda, CA to lead sales analytics, planning and reporting for the ADC division. You will drive LD development of Plan, RLBE and OEM plans, and present insights to senior executives.

You will guide a finance team, oversee month-end close, and coordinate cross-functional inputs to ensure accurate, timely financial information and strategic decision support for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 8 years in FP&A or related finance roles, with leadership experience.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and executive presentation capabilities.
• Ability to manage complex projects under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools.
• Minimum 2 years of direct management/supervisory experience.
• Experience in performance development/review of staff.
• Financial planning experience in Commercial, Manufacturing or Corporate.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis of ADC performance indicators including price-volume, market penetration and share.
• Lead development of Plan, RLBE and strategic long-range plans (OEM).
• Review and consolidate actual sales performance; communicate to senior management.
• Provide analytics and insights to enable executive decision making.
• Manage month-end close activities and reporting of key metrics.
• Coach and develop direct reports to foster a high-performing finance team.
• Coordinate forecasts and financial plans for all commercial aspects of ADC.
• Partner with leadership and deliver clear financial communications to senior executives.
