Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis in Alameda, CA. You will lead sales analytics, plan development, and executive reporting for the ADC division, delivering actionable insights to senior leaders.

Responsibilities include coordinating annual plans, RLBE, and OEM plans, plus leading a high-performing finance team to enable informed strategic decisions across Commercial and Operations functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field and MBA preferred.
• Minimum 8 years in FP&A or related finance roles with leadership experience.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and executive presentation capabilities.
• Ability to manage complex projects under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis of sales performance metrics, price/volume, market share and product launches.
• Develop ADC Plan, RLBE and strategic long-range plans (OEM).
• Consolidate actuals and prepare performance presentations for senior management.
• Provide analytics and financial insights to enable executive decisions.
• Lead month-end close activities and report key financial metrics.
• Coach and develop direct reports and manage finance team performance.
• Coordinate annual planning and other financial forecasts for all ADC commercial aspects.
• Collaborate with Commercial Areas, Marketing and Operations to drive improvements.
