Abbott is seeking a seasoned Data & Analytics leader for its onsite Alameda, CA location. The role drives data product delivery, AI initiatives, and governance across Commercial, Marketing, R&D, Quality, and Operations. You will lead strategy, roadmap, and engineering efforts enabling measurable business outcomes.
You’ll partner with cross-functional teams, scale Data Products, and implement Data Mesh principles while ensuring security, quality, and governance across enterprise data assets.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in Data & Analytics leadership roles with data engineering, architecture, analytics, management, governance.
- Hands-on enterprise data/analytics delivery before moving to leadership.
- Proven ability to translate strategic priorities into scalable tech-enabled solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead Data, Analytics, AI, and Data Product initiatives end-to-end.
- Partner with senior business stakeholders to define value-driven data products.
- Govern data assets with governance, metadata, and security best practices.
- Drive Data Mesh adoption and domain-oriented data ownership across functions.
- Collaborate with Architecture/IT to shape architectural direction.
