Job summary

Synergy Search is looking for a first FP&A Manager to join our Nashville team. This in-office role will own monthly reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, and build scalable financial models to guide strategic decisions as we scale post-PE backing.

You'll partner with the CFO and executive team, lead data-driven insights, and help shape board materials. Opportunity to influence M&A planning, automate reporting, and progress toward higher leadership roles while receiving an equity pathway.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive finance experience with FP&A foundation.
• Advanced financial modeling skills, including three-statement and driver-based models.
• Experience presenting financial results to senior leadership.
• Hands-on experience using automation or AI tools to improve reporting.
• Strong data skills and comfort working with BI tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Build and maintain financial models that support planning and decision making.
• Prepare board and investor materials.
• Partner with operating leaders to explain results and drive performance.
• Develop dashboards and automated reporting.
• Support M&A, scenario planning, and ad hoc analysis.
