Synergy Search in Nashville seeks an FP&A Manager to design the data and analytics model from the ground up, reporting to the CFO and engaging the CEO in strategic discussions. The role focuses on insight delivery, not data cleanup, with broad exposure to M&A modeling and site diligence.

You will own driver-based models, long-range planning, and site analytics, shaping an AI/automation roadmap for enterprise analytics and governance.

Qualifications

• 5–9 years of progressive finance experience in FP&A or strategic finance.
• Three-statement modeling ownership with P&L responsibility.
• Experience linking disparate data sources and enabling BI tooling.
• Proven ability to present and defend numbers to CFO/CEO.
• Hands-on AI and automation experience with dashboards or workbooks.

Responsibilities

• Own the FP&A function and translate analytics to the executive team.
• Lead annual budget and rolling forecast, presenting risks and assumptions.
• Build driver-based and three-statement models tied to the long-range plan.
• Create site-level analytics for KPIs, with variance analysis and actions.
• Optimize marketing spend and define winning profiles for BD with sponsors.
• Structure data layer and deliver automated, system-fed dashboards.
• Prepare Board and PE sponsor materials and acquisition performance reviews.
• Support M&A through modeling and site diligence post-close.
• Lead AI and automation roadmap with governance and repeatable outputs.
• Deliver scenario, sensitivity, and ROI analyses for new sites and staffing.
