Job summary

Bedrock Energy is seeking an FP&A Lead to mature financial planning, project-based accounting, and capital strategy. As the first in-house finance hire, you will own FP&A, build financial systems, and report to the CEO, shaping analyses for operations and future Series B fundraising.

You will partner with Product, Operations, and Engineering to deliver actionable insights, manage budgets, and implement controls in an equipment-intensive, clean energy deployment environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking experience.
• Experience in capital-intensive, project-based businesses.
• Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and working capital management.
• Autonomy with cross-functional collaboration and investor interfacing.
• Startup/early-stage FP&A experience and multiple venture fundraises.

Responsibilities

• Structure books with project-based accounting; own and refine the financial model with the CEO.
• Implement financial controls, close cycles, variance reviews, and budgeting.
• Negotiate equipment financing and leasing; explore infrastructure/project finance structures.
• Partner with Product to enable streamlined technoeconomic analyses.
• Provide actionable insights to leadership; own dashboards and reporting.
