Job summary

Thea Energy is seeking an experienced Corporate FP&A professional to own CapEx-heavy financial planning, build robust project finance models, and drive executive decision support. You will partner with Engineering and Operations to ensure cost efficiency and accurate forecasting, while standardizing FP&A processes and dashboards.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in finance roles, exposure to hardware industries, and strong ERP/BI tool proficiency. A finance-related degree is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Corporate FP&A, Corporate Development, Investment Banking, or Strategic Finance with 2+ years leading CapEx planning.
• Experience in hardware-heavy industries (aerospace, automotive, energy storage, semiconductor, oil & gas, or advanced manufacturing).
• Advanced multi-statement modeling with project finance, capital investments, and scenario analyses.
• Proven track record creating financial processes, CapEx controls, and reporting workflows in growth Org.
• Proficiency with ERP/FP&A/BI tools (NetSuite, SAP, Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Tableau, PowerBI).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed financial models for high-value capital assets and large-scale projects.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Engineering to evaluate major equipment purchases and contracts within budget.
• Own and refine the core 3-statement financial model to support strategy and investor discussions.
