Transamerica is seeking a Lead Specialist, Financial Analysis to provide advanced financial analysis, performance management, and finance transformation support for the FP&A organization. You will independently lead complex analyses across U.S.

GAAP, statutory, capital, and management reporting, while improving data governance, reporting automation, and analytical capabilities. The role collaborates with FP&A, Actuarial, Capital Management, Investments, Technology, and business partners to

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience.
Ten years of financial analysis experience in the insurance, financial services or investment management industry.
Expert knowledge of accounting/finance and reporting.
Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Analyze financial performance, trends, risks, and opportunities and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
Develop forecasts, scenario analyses, management reporting, and performance metrics to support planning and decisions.
Maintain effective financial controls, governance, documentation, and compliance processes; identify and resolve data or reporting issues.
Develop executive dashboards, management reporting, and self-service analytics using Power BI and other data visualization tools.
