Job summary

Transamerica seeks a Lead Specialist, Financial Planning & Analysis to drive high-quality financial analysis, reporting, and planning across the organization. You will link US GAAP performance with operational KPIs and support monthly/ quarterly management reporting while building trusted relationships with business units.

The role leads defined FP&A workstreams, mentors peers, and contributes to scalable finance platforms using Power BI, Oracle planning, and cloud data environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of financial analysis experience in insurance/financial services/investment management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate monthly and quarterly management reporting with US GAAP results and KPIs.
• Develop executive dashboards and recurring reporting packages; provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with Finance, Technology, Actuarial, Accounting, Risk, Data, and business units to align requirements.
• Support SOX-relevant processes and controls; maintain documentation and evidence.
• Mentor peers and coordinate shared deliverables where appropriate.
