Job summary

Walther Electric is seeking a Financial Analyst to support FP&A, forecasting, reporting, and business decision support. This role partners with Finance, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and executive leadership to provide financial analysis and actionable insights that improve business performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A, Accounting, or Corporate Finance.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare forecasts, budgets, and financial models.
• Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year.
• Prepare monthly management reporting packages and KPI dashboards.
• Support reporting requirements for the German parent company.
• Analyze revenue trends by customer, product line, market segment, and salesperson.
• Develop reporting for orders received, backlog, shipments, and sales performance.
• Monitor manufacturing variances, overhead spending, and operating expenses.
• Partner with Operations, Purchasing, and Supply Chain to improve profitability.
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, and automated reporting tools.
• Leverage AI, automation, and analytics tools to improve reporting efficiency.
