Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Finance Manager for SSD FP&A to drive budgeting, forecasting and month-end reporting.

The role collaborates with global financial leaders and cross-functional brand teams to deliver accurate financial insights and consolidated reporting within a hybrid/remote model. The position requires 5+ years in FP&A, strong partnering, advanced Excel, and familiarity with EPM/HFM.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years experience in Financial planning & analysis / business finance.
• Strong business partnering, communication and influencing skills.
• Strong Excel capabilities; Power BI or Snowflake knowledge helpful.
• Strong understanding of SBD systems/processes including EPM & HFM.
• Problem solving and ability to handle adhoc tasks.
• This role requires ownership and process improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Drive FP&A cycles for the Seasonal & Specialty Distribution segment within Tools & Outdoor.
• Lead month-end reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Provide financial leadership and transparency over core FP&A processes.
• Analyze month-end forecasts and operating plans with insightful reporting.
• Partner with global and commercial financial leaders for consolidated reporting.
• Support month-end/quarterly reviews with analytical slides.
• Offer guidance and financial support to SSD brand and product teams.
• Ensure alignment of processes across the T&O matrix.
• Consolidate and report with consistent analytical structure.
• Update templates and reporting files to evolving requirements.
• Support planning, budgeting, forecasting with calendars and reports.
• Provide insights to T&O FP&A, SSD, and Group finance leadership.
• Assist SSD month-end reporting including sales/margin variance analysis.
