Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a Data Scientist to join the FP&A Solutions team within the Finance Transformation organization.

This role sits at the intersection of finance, data science, and analytics engineering, partnering with FP&A, Finance, Data Engineering, and business teams to automate financial analysis, develop forecasting and predictive models, build scalable data solutions, and improve the quality and speed of financial decision‑making.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, FP&A analytics, or related field.
• Advanced Python with pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, statsmodels.

Responsibilities

• Partner with FP&A, Finance, Data Engineering, and business teams to improve planning and forecasting.
• Develop Python-based models, forecasting solutions, simulations, and automations.
• Build scalable datasets and workflows using Snowflake, SQL, and Python.
• Develop predictive models for revenue, expenses, headcount, cash flow, and performance.
• Design model validation, monitoring, and data-quality controls.
