Job summary

Autodesk, Inc. is seeking a Data Scientist for the FP&A Solutions team. You will collaborate with FP&A, Finance, Data Engineering and business teams to automate financial analysis, build forecasting models, and create scalable data solutions within Snowflake and Python.

You will develop predictive models for revenue, expenses, headcount, bookings, and cash flow, while improving forecasting accuracy and decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data science or FP&A analytics or related field.
• Advanced Python with libraries such as pandas, NumPy or scikit-learn.
• Advanced SQL skills and Snowflake experience.
• Strong FP&A concepts: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting.
• Experience building scalable, automated analytical workflows.
• Ability to explain complex analyses to non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor's or master's in a quantitative field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities where data science can improve planning and decision-making.
• Develop Python-based analytical models, forecasting solutions and automation.
• Build and maintain scalable datasets using Snowflake, SQL, and Python.
• Develop predictive models for revenue, expenses, headcount, and other KPIs.
• Automate FP&A processes including variance analysis and reporting.
• Translate model outputs into concise insights for finance leaders.
