Job summary

Hirewell in Denver is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to build the planning and reporting foundation of its finance function. You will work directly with the Controller and CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and modeling across mine development, remediation, and processing, and become a go-to resource for the analysis that leadership, the board, and investors rely on.

Qualifications

• 3+ years FP&A experience in a growing or capital-intensive environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budget and rolling forecast process, building bottom-up plans with operations, project, and corporate teams.
• 2
• Build and maintain financial models for projects including capex, operating costs, and project-level returns.
• 3
• Model cash flow and runway scenarios to support capital planning and spending decisions.
• 4
• Run sensitivity analysis on key drivers such as commodity pricing, production volumes, and project timing.

• Prepare monthly budget-to-actual and forecast variance analysis with commentary.

• Assemble board and investor reporting packages with KPIs and management commentary.
• 7
• Track project economics across sites and contracts.
• 8
• Support strategic work including acquisitions, financing, contract pricing, and site evaluations.

• Partner with accounting on month-end results and improve reporting from NetSuite.
• 10
• Build Power BI dashboards for leadership view on spend, progress, and cash.
