Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join the Rush City Correctional Facility team in Minnesota. You will provide medical assessments, treat urgent and routine issues, and manage chronic conditions under the Site Medical Director's direction.

You'll work in a correctional setting with a clinically rich patient population and engage in organizational initiatives to improve patient care. Experience in correctional or high-acuity settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Active Minnesota medical license or ability to obtain one.
• DEA registration active or ability to obtain; credentialing and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical assessments and evaluations across urgent, routine, and emergent issues.
• Provide and supervise treatment for chronic conditions.
• Collaborate with Site Medical Director and Health Services Administrator to ensure quality care.

We are currently seeking a Primary Care Provider to join our team at the Rush City Correctional Facility just one our north of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The Primary Care Physician provides medical assessments and evaluations, provides treatment for emergent, urgent, and routine medical issues, provides and supervises medical treatment for chronic medical conditions, and participates in organizational initiatives to help prevent diseases and injuries of patients in a correctional setting. The Primary Care Physician works under the direction of the Site Medical Director and/or the Statewide Medical Director and collaborates with the Health Services Administrator to ensure that efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided.
