Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; on‑the‑job training provided.
• Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to maintain order and chain of custody on shell molds.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to safety rules and demonstrates safe work practices.
• Wears required PPE during grinding operations.
• Reviews and understands written instructions to determine weld requirements and measure accordingly.
• Checks, sets up and operates equipment following safety rules and specifications.
• Performs duties as assigned within skill scope.
• Positions and secures material in clamps or fixtures and transports parts as needed.
• Maintains housekeeping and safety practices to ensure quality of workstation.
• Counts, records and visually inspects cast parts to verify specs.
• Makes dimensional measurements to ensure compliance.
