Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined with basic math skills.
• Must be able to follow instructions and work in a group.
• Strong learning aptitude and safety awareness are essential.

Responsibilities

• Follow standard manufacturing and operating procedures; learn 75% on the job.
• Perform pre-operative checks and use pre-pump/start-up checklist.
• Set up and operate furnace(s) for melting; inspect electrodes and maintain systems.
• Load electrodes, operate water/vacuum systems, and monitor furnace controls.
• Maintain logs and records; track materials and maintenance needs.
• Perform leak tests and inspect equipment; replace damaged components.
