You will work hands-on with molds and molten aluminum, following safety protocols and recording temperature data. The position supports metal casting operations and requires attention to detail and reliability.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with 6–12 months foundry experience preferred. Competitive environment with on-site shifts and physical duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent. (Required)
• 6-12 months of previous foundry experience (preferred)
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate and pour molten aluminum; monitor temperature readings and manage ladles.
• Inspect and preheat ladles; ensure safe handling of molten metal.
• Record melt and pour temperature data; maintain equipment on pour floor.
• Clean and inspect pouring equipment and participate in slag disposal.
• Monitor cooling and shakeout readiness; inspect castings for quality issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free pour floor and report hazards.
